If you're 3D printing minis for your tabletop, you know by now that finding non-heroic, non-monster minis to fill your world can be very difficult. Things like common folks, shop keepers, nobles, tradesmen, children, etc are hard to come by. That's what I set out to fix when I crated this project -- and to do it for multiple common fantasy races you encounter!

What's more, I designed all these minis (and scenics) to print fast and easy, support-free in resin and FDM. No fuss, quick to paint, no cleanup. This campaign is just launched on MMF Frontiers, and there are MANY stretch goals planned (well over 100 minis for the project).

Project Alert - Community (Treasure)Chest - Vol 2 - Cheap STLs + Charity!

Hello backers! I wanted to shoot out a quick update to let you know about a project I have been running that's coming to a close in a few days.  Volume 2 of my charitable series "Community (Treasure)Chest" is a unique blend of support-free mini and terrain STLs and an intro comic page, at pledge-what-you-can pricing ($5 minimum). 40% of ALL proceeds go to charity, and you can pick up the previous version as well for a $20 pledge. It also includes a 15% coupon for paints from my friends Cephalopod Studios.

The files are delivered right away, and the 2nd version is called "The Secret of the Crimson Troupe!" and features a wandering circus troupe with a dark, sinister secret. Files done!

As promised, I'm notifying you all to let you know that 100% of the files are complete and delivered. If I have to make any additional edits/fixes, those will be noted in the the spreadsheet - but you should be good to download it all. The download links will stay live for the foreseeable future, so not need to rush - but just a heads up for those who have been waiting! We can in well under the 60 day estimate, and I'm very happy & proud of the outcome of al the models - and thank you all again SO MUCH for your support on this project!

New Kickstarter Launch!

I just pressed the launch button on my first foray into the worlds of scifi and cyberpunk! "The Ignis Quadrant" is live now, with support-free minis, vehicles, and scatter/scenics! Hey folks, hope all is well! I have had a TON of folks comment/message me about file-related questions so wanted to address them quick. 

File Status + Updates

First, regarding BackerKit, if you have NOT yet accessed BackerKit you can do so by following the instructions from THIS PREVIOUS UPDATE - please note there's a direct link in there to access BackerKit also if you didn't receive an email.

Second, regarding the status of files - I have a spreadsheet, linked to in multiple places, that has full status for all the models. Here it is again if you haven't yet seen it: https://go.ec3d.design/2V2jWXd

PLEASE NOTE that there are a few folders in the scatter rewards folder in Dropbox that are empty, and only have the preview.png - you'll see that they also are labeled as not yet finished in the spreadsheet. These large files require a lot of work to clean up, finalize, test, etc and I'll be working on them over the next few weeks, and I will add them as they are finished (I just added the serpent tower this morning, for example). 

In the campaign page, I noted that it will take up to 60 days from the end of the KS for me to deliver all the files. It will certainly be well before then that I finish (hopefully only a week or so0, but please have a bit of patience as I wrap things up. If you want to know the status of any unfinished files, the spreadsheet is always kept up to date. Once all files are finished (and known issues repaired) I will post an update on the KS letting everybody know.

Extra Bonus Model

I had a Sphynx Statue modeled up for the campaign and completely forgot to include it in the rewards during the KS, so I just released it as a bonus free model on thingiverse, and you can download it right now if you're interested;  https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:4203450

BackerKit And File Access!

The time has come! I'll be releasing BackerKit surveys and files shortly! **PLEASE** take the time to watch the two quick videos below if you have any questions, or are new to my Kickstarters, as they explain how BackerKit and file access works.

You should all be receiving a survey access email, but if not you can also login and access here: https://empire-of-scorching-sands.backerkit.com/ . Inside the survey you will see your extra funds from KS pledge, can select or purchase additional add-ons, and access digital downloads & rewards (more on that below). Here's an overview video:

Accessing, Browsing, and Downloading Files

All digital content rewards are served through BackerKit, and provided as a Dropbox link (which I use  to host the files) and a custom password for each access. After  completing your survey you will have access to these  in BackerKit. Each add-on and pledge component (minis, terrain, bonus) has their own digital reward. For all add-ons, the content is finished and you can download away. The minis for the KS are done, but I might  have to make some repairs, and some scenery is still in the works so I recommend only downloading what you intend to print for now and wait a few weeks (until I give the green light that everything is done) to download the full set.
